Senior Highway Infrastructure Engineer, London or guildford

Within this role you will:

·        Manage projects commercially and technically

·        Manage and mentor staff

·        Undertake hands-on design of the delivery of concept studies and strategies, through planning application, detailed design and construction drawing issue

·        Liaise with clients, design team

·        Prepare fee proposals

You will have knowledge, experience and qualifications in:

·        experience of commercial and project management and leading technical delivery of small to complex highway infrastructure design projects

·        UK highway design standards and planning processes, adoption and contract procedures for the provision of infrastructure and regeneration projects

·        Highway design with experience of applying DMRB, Manual for Streets, Local Authority standards and design guidance

·        Proven ability to use supporting tools for the role – AutoCAD, Civils 3D (alignment design), AutoTrack, PDS Sign and PDS Line (or similar software)

·        Pavement and highway drainage design

The above will ideally be based on a Civil Engineering degree (or equivalent vocational qualification).  You are well underway with acquiring skills and experience towards achieving Chartered status (CEng, MICE, MCIHT).
